I'm Taylor, creator of all things sweet. I started my journey as a baker in 2012, not knowing where my future would take me. Growing up I always had a sweet tooth. I even got a "Sweet Tooth Award" at camp one summer when my counselor always found me sneaking away with candy. My parents were always fooled when I woke up in the wee hours of the morning sneaking a gallon of ice cream before they would awake. So I guess if I look back on my childhood growing up, it was a future I was destined for.
In 2017 I took a leap, quit my full-time job as a pastry cook plating desserts to open Village Baking Co. I have a passion for all things sweet, so being a cake designer and a artist of baked goods was inevitably my calling.
